Tampa Bay Buccaneers middle linebacker Kwon Alexander will face a four-game suspension for violating the league's policy on performance-enhancing drugs, the Tampa Tribune reports.
The Bucs are expected to receive a letter from the league office on Monday, which means Alexander will be allowed to play Sunday against the Eagles. Once the suspension is handed down, Alexander will have a chance to appeal the ruling. Alexander has been a revelation as a rookie, forcing three turnovers and earning the NFC's Defensive Player of the Week for Week 8.
The Buccaneers defense is much-improved from 2014, as they currently rank 18th in Adjusted Defensive Net Expected Points per play through Week 10.
