New England Patriots running back Rex Burkhead (neck) was placed on Injured Reserve on Wednesday.
What It Means:
Burkhead was forced to leave Week 3's game with a neck injury and will now miss at least the next eight weeks. James White and Sony Michel will take over as the Patriots' lead backs in Week 4 against the Miami Dolphins.
