Texans send Bruce Ellington (hamstring) to injured reserve
Houston Texans wide receiver Bruce Ellington has been placed on injured reserve with a hamstring injury.
Ellington's injury hurts an already depleted Texans receiving corp, leaving little depth behind DeAndre Hopkins and Will Fuller. Vyncint Smith will see more snaps in three-wideout sets, Keke Coutee as well if he gets healthy. The Ellington will be eligible to return after eight games.
Ellington has 8 catches for 92 yards and 1 touchdown on 12 targets through 3 games this season.
