Quarterback
Mark Sanchez, Philadelphia Eagles
During his eight starts as Philadelphia Eagles quarterback last year, Sanchez failed to throw a touchdown pass in just one of them, a game against division-rival Dallas. He'll face the Bucs this week, a team that ranks 26th against the pass according to our schedule-adjusted Net Expected Points (NEP) metrics, and 26th in fantasy points against. Given his low cost, he makes for a great play.
Running Back
Charcandrick West, Kansas City Chiefs
It's difficult to find running backs in today's NFL who play every down, but that's what you get from West. Over the last three weeks, West has averaged 22 carries per contest, all while capturing at least 5 targets in the air per game. He's got a date with the Chargers rush defense this week, a team that ranks 29th against the run according NEP. San Diego has also allowed seven top-10 running back performances in nine games this year. Charcandrick should keep on rolling.
Darren McFadden, Dallas Cowboys
Another player seeing a ton of backfield touches is McFadden, who's carried the ball at least 17 times in each of the last four contests -- games where he's been the team's starter. Volume obviously matters in fantasy football, but with a more efficient offense now that Tony Romo is back, scoring opportunities could increase as well. It doesn't hurt that Miami, Dallas' opponent this weekend, ranks 22nd against the rush according to our metrics.
Wide Receiver
Mike Evans, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Evans' volume in Tampa Bay's offense has been insane -- he's hit the 12 target mark in four of seven contests this season, and he's seen 19 and 13 targets, respectively, over the last two weeks. The Bucs take on the Eagles this week, which means Evans will see a hefty dose of Byron Maxwell, who's been giving up big games to top wideouts all season long. With the volume and matchup, Evans is a very logical play.
Kamar Aiken, Baltimore Ravens
Without Steve Smith in the lineup, Aiken has been hoarding targets, and he ended up seeing 14 last week against Jacksonville. If that type of volume continues -- despite a very difficult matchup against St. Louis -- he should be able to live up to his low price tag.
Steve Johnson, San Diego Chargers
Similar to Aiken, Johnson is in the high-volume situation he's in because of injury. But in daily fantasy, you have to take advantage of that, because oftentimes -- as we saw with Aiken -- a player's price hasn't caught up to his new role. That's the case with Johnson, as he'll face a Kansas City secondary that's been pretty friendly to opposing wideouts this season.
Tight End
Eric Ebron, Detroit Lions
The Raiders rank 30th against the tight end position in fantasy points against, and essentially every team that's faced them that incorporates a tight end regularly in their offense has seen said tight end go bonkers in the matchup. Ebron, despite not seeing a high number of snaps, has captured five or more targets in every game he's completed this season. Given his price, he's a great play in Week 11.
Flex
Danny Woodhead, San Diego Chargers
Because of the crowded backfield in San Diego, Woodhead continues to have a low price point in daily fantasy. But all he's doing is producing -- he's the Chargers' main red zone running back, and he's seen 10 or more targets in two of his last three games. Though the Chiefs present a tough matchup, the Chargers are projected to lose, which could force a pass-happy approach. As a result, Woodhead should get work.
Defense
Rather than spending up on defense this week, we're electing to go with a cheaper option in the defensive spot. The Ravens will be at home to face off against Case Keenum -- in each of his last eight starts, Keenum has thrown at least one pick. Vegas has the game at a low 42.5-point over/under with the Ravens as one-point favorites, making them a strong streaming and DFS option this week.
