Super Bowl Futures Betting Update: Week 5

And then there was one. There is only one unbeaten team with four weeks of the NFL season in the books. The Philadelphia Eagles improved to 4-0 with a win over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, which gives them a 97.3% chance of making the playoffs, according to our updated team power rankings. There's still a lot of football left to be played, but the Eagles are rightly one of the favorites to win the Super Bowl this season.

But what about everyone else? What impact has the latest week of games had on their championship odds? FanDuel Sportsbook has the odds on each and every team to win the title this season, and you can see them below.

The Eagles have the shortest odds of any NFC team, but the bookies still favor AFC powerhouses the Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs over the Birds. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Green Bay Packers are both available at +1000.

The Dallas Cowboys' odds improved after their third straight victory on Sunday, coming down to +2400. Dallas' Cooper Rush-led renaissance has seen their odds improve since they were available at +5000 before Week 2. The Tennessee Titans also saw their odds improve dramatically over the last week, coming down to +5000 after sitting at +6000 after Week 3.

Notable teams who are going the other way in the eyes of oddsmakers are the Denver Broncos and Indianapolis Colts. The Broncos fell to 2-2 for the year and have seen their Super Bowl odds drop to +3000. The Colts' 1-2-1 start to the campaign has seen their odds fall all the way to +5000, a long drop from the +2200 you could have got them at just prior to the season.

The ultimate longshots are the still winless Houston Texans. They are the owners of a 0-3-1 record after four weeks, and as a result of that record and their -10.14 nERD rating, they are the first team to see their odds crash to +100000. They won't be the last.
