Tommy Tremble Is a Long Shot to Have 2021 Fantasy Football Relevance on Carolina
Tremble didn't produce much in college, and he is going to a Carolina offense that isn't hurting for pass-game options.

Tommy Tremble is the latest Notre Dame tight end off the assembly line, and he was selected 83rd overall by the Carolina Panthers, who traded up to get him.

Tremble's college production is pretty sparse as he totaled a mere 35 catches for 401 yards and four scores across two seasons. He had just 218 yards and no tuddies in 10 games in 2020.

What kind of prospect profile does he possess?

Player Comparisons

Brandon Gdula's draft database has found these 10 prior prospects to have the most similar statistical profiles to Tremble. Keep in mind that these are based not on play style or traits but age, athleticism, draft equity, experience, efficiency, and production.

Gdula's Take: Tremble never produced enough to qualify with a "breakout" season at Notre Dame and had 35 catches over his final two seasons. He rates out more as a blocker than as a fantasy-relevant tight end.

Betting on the Panthers
