The Carolina Panthers moved up to 59th overall to draft receiver Terrace Marshall Jr. on Friday night in the second round.
Over his final two college seasons at LSU, Marshall amassed 23 touchdowns on 94 catches, averaging 104.4 yards per game in 2020. Per PlayerProfiler, his college dominator rating sits in the 92nd percentile, and he owns an 86th-percentile breakout age.

Gdula's Take: College team has nothing to do with my projections and similarity scores, but Marshall has two LSU wideouts -- D.J. Chark and Justin Jefferson -- in his top six. He rates as a plus athlete and broke out early, which helps overcome some market share concerns.
Marshall's 2021 Fantasy Football Projection
Marshall will be walking into a Panthers' receiver room that already has D.J. Moore and Robby Anderson, two guys who played pretty well last season despite an iffy quarterback situation. That quarterback situation could -- emphasis on could -- be better in 2021 with the acquisition of Sam Darnold, but it's unlikely Darnold will be able to support three fantasy-relevant wideouts next year.
Zachariason's initial rookie-season projections for Marshall include 63 catches, 747 yards and 4.2 touchdowns, making him the PPR WR51 for the season.
