Week 14 NFL FanDuel Salary Movers
Things can change quickly in fantasy football. To quote Ferris Bueller -- "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it."
We're here to "look around" and make sure we don't miss any week-to-week salary changes that could pay dividends on FanDuel.
Perhaps a player had an outlier performance and saw their salary rise too high, making them a sub-optimal play. Or, maybe a player saw an increase in their role but played on Monday night after salaries for the following week's slate already came out, and therefore they haven't been priced accordingly.
This week's article will take a look at which players' salaries have changed the most from Week 13 to Week 14.

Quarterback
Andy Dalton, Cincinnati Bengals
Week 13 Salary: $6,000
Week 14 Salary: $7,000
With the Cincinnati Bengals winless through eight games, the team turned to rookie fourth-rounder Ryan Finley while Andy Dalton moved to backup duties. Finley failed to produce a win and couldn't crack the 200-yard barrier through the air while averaging 29 attempts per game.
Head coach Zac Taylor turned back to Dalton for Week 13 versus the New York Jets and the veteran delivered. He completed 22 of 37 passes for 243 yards and a touchdown in the Bengals' 22-6 win. Dalton didn't have a monster performance, scoring just 13.32 FanDuel points, but the Bengals picked up their first win of the season and a switch back to Finley at this point in the season seems unlikely.
Next up, the Bengals hit the road for a short trip to the Cleveland Browns. With Dalton back in the starting role, his salary has risen $1,000 to reflect the change. At $7,000, Dalton remains in the bottom of the quarterback scale, but there are better options. We're projecting the Red Rifle for 14.9 FanDuel points, trailing the likes of Devlin Hodges, Gardner Minshew, and Derek Carr.

Running Back
Raheem Mostert, San Francisco 49ers
Week 13 Salary: $4,800
Week 14 Salary: $6,200
If you're a preseason DFS degenerate like myself, then you already know about Raheem Mostert. The 49ers' third running back and core special teamer has benefited from Matt Breida injuries. Mostert popped off against the Bengals back in Week 2 with 83 yards rushing, 68 yards receiving, and a touchdown for 22.6 points. On Sunday, Mostert took over as the main back versus the Baltimore Ravens, out-touching Tevin Coleman 21-6. In the soggy, cold conditions, Mostert turned 19 rushes into 146 yards, including a 40-yard touchdown. He caught both of his targets for an additional eight yards and 22.4 FanDuel points.
Mostert's monster performance rockets him up $1,400 to $6,200, and he is the biggest mover of the week.
Breida was projected to play against Baltimore but was ultimately inactive after practicing on a limited basis all week. He practiced Wednesday and is expected back for this week's game at the New Orleans Saints, turning the 49ers' running back committee into a three-headed nightmare for fantasy owners. On the season, the Saints' defense has allowed just under 16 FanDuel points per game to opposing running backs, fourth-best in the NFL.
The ambiguity over the running back roles and the tough matchup make this a less-than-ideal scenario to take a shot on Mostert remaining the lead back despite last week's breakout game.

Wide Receiver
DeVante Parker, Miami Dolphins
Week 13 Salary: $6,000
Week 14 Salary: $7,200
DeVante Parker has double-digit targets in four consecutive games. Yes, the same DeVante Parker who was the subject of trade talks or being outright cut this summer. The Miami Dolphins have a narrower target tree with the loss of impressive rookie Preston Williams, and Parker has stepped up.
Against the Philadelphia Eagles, Parker shredded the Eagles' secondary, catching seven of his 10 targets for 159 yards and two touchdowns for 31.4 FanDuel points as the Dolphins upset the Eagles.
Over the last four weeks, Parker leads the Dolphins with a 26 percent target share. Over the same time, Parker has been even more dominant in terms of air yards, capturing 43 percent of the team's air yards, which trails only Alshon Jeffery and Courtland Sutton since Week 10.
Parker's salary is finally starting to catch up to his volume, rising $1,200 to $7,200. No longer a value, he finds himself just outside the top tier this week against the New York Jets. The Jets are numberFire's top-ranked run defense, with just a 31.6 percent success rate allowed to running backs. That means Ryan Fitzpatrick and Parker will have plenty of work on their hands as the Dolphins try to win their fourth game of the season. Parker's volume should remain high, but he'll be harder to fit into lineups this week.

Tight End
Jack Doyle, Indianapolis Colts
Week 13 Salary: $5,000
Week 14 Salary: $6,300
If you're seeing a trend in this article, it's that injuries give other players an opportunity to capitalize on a new role. That was the case for Mostert, Parker, and now Jack Doyle. With Eric Ebron going to injured reserve, Doyle played 94 percent of the snaps Sunday against the Tennessee Titans. Without T.Y. Hilton, Doyle was the top option in the passing attack, receiving 11 targets. He caught six of those 73 yards, including a 21-yard touchdown, for 16.3 FanDuel points. At just $5,000, Doyle was a great value.
The Indianapolis Colts travel to Tampa this week to face the Buccaneers, and Doyle gets another good matchup. Hilton's status is still up in the air, and with rookie Parris Campbell and Chester Rogers are iffy, too. The Bucs surrender nearly 13 FanDuel points per game to opposing tight ends on the season, and with little competition, Doyle could see double-digit targets again with the Colts facing negative game script. They're 3.0-point road 'dogs in a game with the third-highest over under on the slate at 46.5 points.
