3 Fantasy Football Quarterback Streaming Options for Week 11

Quarterback streaming isn't for everyone, but if you're in a standard league -- like a 10- or 12-team league that features just one starting signal caller -- grabbing productive quarterbacks who have good matchups off the waiver wire is often doable.

Sure, you won't have the luxury of setting it and forgetting it with Deshaun Watson as your quarterback, but when the top-end signal callers draw a tough matchup, their upside can oftentimes be matched by a waiver-wire option in a more favorable situation.

We had another good outing in Week 10 as Ryan Tannehill totaled 18.94 fantasy points to rank as the week's QB10. That gives us a QB1 (top-12) finish in seven of 10 weeks this season, and our per-week average of 17.13 fantasy points is good for the season-long QB14.

If you're looking for some quarterback options from the waiver wire -- regardless of league size -- we have you covered. Here are three quarterbacks owned in fewer than roughly 30% of Yahoo! leagues who are in good spots this week.

Kyle Allen, Panthers

Yahoo Ownership: 16%

After some thin streaming options in the last few weeks, we have a few solid low-owned choices in Week 11. Available in nearly 85% of Yahoo leagues, Kyle Allen is our top pick this week as the Carolina Panthers play host to the Atlanta Falcons.

I don't know what got into the Falcons' D last week versus the New Orleans Saints, but over a much larger sample, Atlanta's defense has been horrible. For the year, they're giving up the fifth-most fantasy points per game to opposing signal callers, and our schedule-adjusted metrics rank them second-worst both overall and against the pass.

This is a money spot for the Carolina offense. They are 6.5-point home favorites with a 28.50-point implied total, the third-highest of the week. Our models have Allen as this week's QB12, projecting him for a total of 16.65 fantasy points.

Derek Carr, Raiders

Yahoo Ownership: 45%

Derek Carr is owned in too many leagues to qualify as the top streamer for this article, but it's close enough that I thought he was worth mentioning since he might be available in your league. If he is, he's the best streaming quarterback of Week 11 -- better than Allen -- thanks to a dreamy home matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals.

Cincy has allowed the third-most fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks, and the Oakland Raiders' 29.50-point implied total is tops of the week. While Oakland being a 10.5-point favorite could lead to a run-heavy approach for the Raiders' offense in the second half, Carr should play a role in any cushion Oakland builds up. Plus, Oakland being expected to win is a huge boon for Carr's outlook as he's been a much better fantasy performer in wins over his career.

Our projections peg Carr for 17.59 fantasy points, making him this week's QB10.

Jacoby Brissett, Colts

Yahoo Ownership: 38%

Jacoby Brissett is far from a lock to play this week, but if he's in there, he's in a nice spot at home against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Brissett has been a high-floor option for much of the season, scoring at least 16 fantasy points in five of his seven full games. The Jags check in as a league-average D, per our numbers, both against the pass and overall, and they no longer have their best corner.

While the sample is small, Brissett has been good this year at home, averaging 275.8 passing yards per game with nine tuddies and one pick across four outings.

He's our QB18 this week, forecasted for 15.50 fantasy points. If you can't get Allen or Carr, Brissett is a fine fall-back play.
