Week 13 Roundtable: the numberFire Experts' NFL Predictions

Because it's not a proper Week 13 without desperate survivor pool picks of the Browns and Bills.

Each week, the great minds behind numberFire will give you some answers to the big questions of the weekend. Does anybody trust Russell Wilson? Can anybody pull the upset this week? And why did somebody pick Cleveland as a survivor pool choice?

Game of the Week Pick: Seattle Seahawks at Chicago Bears. Who you got?

Keith Goldner, Chief Analyst: Da Bears.

Nik Bonaddio, CEO: Chicago. No way Russell Wilson can go on the road and beat the Bears in Chicago, especially not if both of their CBs are suspended.

Michael Worthington, CTO: Da Bears.

Sean Weinstock, COO: Really?! This is the game of the week?! Dude, Jacksonville/Buffalo!!! Chicago though.

Zach Warren, Editor: I have to go the Bears. Cutler's not due for another meltdown game for, what, two or three weeks?

GotW Records: Sean: 7-3, Keith: 6-5, Nik: 5-6, Michael and Zach: 4-5

Which game this week is your upset special?

Keith: Don't love any of the underdogs this week. Give me St. Louis at home versus Kaepernick, don't think people give the Rams enough credit.

Nik: I like how Jacksonville is looking with Henne, I think if both Shorts and Blackmon are healthy they've got a decent shot at beating the Bills.

Michael: Jacksonville over Buffalo.

Sean: Indy over Detroit or Zona over NYJ... The Lions showed a pulse on Thanksgiving. I'll go with Arizona over the Jets.

Zach: Ick. Give me ChuckStrong over the evil Lions (well, really just Suh) if I have to choose one. Good always triumphs in the end.

Upset Special Records: Keith: 5-6, Sean: 4-6, Michael and Zach: 3-6, Nik: 3-8

Which new QB is more likely to win this week: Chad Henne (vs. BUF) or Brady Quinn (vs. CAR)?

Keith: Chad Henne. He's already shown he can play and play well, and Buffalo is not a tall order.

Nik: Despite my above answer, I'm going with Brady. Not that I think he's good by any stretch, but rather the best player by far between those teams is Jamaal Charles.

Michael: If KC wins, it'll likely have nothing to do with Quinn. Have to go with Henne as it's my upset special.

Sean: The Hen Master.

Zach: When in doubt, take the best team of the four to win. That's the Carolina Panthers. So process of elimination, Henne has the best chance.

Who are you picking for a survivor pool this week?

Keith: Really no idea who I have left. I'll take Green Bay if I haven't used them; if not, give me Detroit.

Nik: The way the Pack and the Vikes are moving in such opposite directions, I don't see how the Pack can lose at home, especially if Percy isn't playing.

Michael: Running low on teams.. going to take a gamble on Cleveland over Oakland.

Sean: The Peyton Mannings over the Doug Martins.

Zach: The Packers are obvious, but I'm picking Buffalo since I'm running low on teams.

Survivor Records: Survivor Records: Michael and Zach: 7-2, Nik: 8-3, Keith: 7-4, Sean: 6-4

Who will be the best currently under-the-radar fantasy player this week?

Keith: I like Vick Ballard against Detroit.

Nik: I think Brandon Weeden is a very viable start against the Raiders.

Michael: Maybe Rutgers would have won last night if Mohamed Sanu was still on the team If he's still available in your league or if your keeper options are week for next year, I only see this guy going the way of a fine wine, better with age. Editor's Note: Except that he's now out for the year after Michael posted his selection, so... whoops.

Sean: LaMichael James, who is not related to Rick James. I know, sad.

Zach: I like Josh Gordon of the Browns this week. There's likely to be a good deal of throwing in that matchup against the Raiders, even if not all of it is accurate.

Week 11's top under-the-radar pick: A three-way tie between Keith, Nik, and Sean, who all picked Marcel Reece. Is he really under-the-radar if three of the five select him?
