Week 11 Trends
When you're dealing with LeSean McCoy, it's tough to go wrong. Especially against the Redskins, who are the eighth-worst rush defense when adjusted for strength of schedule in the entire NFL. Shady should continue to beast with Nick Foles, which is why he - McCoy - makes an appearance in all five lineups once again this week.
Outside of McCoy, however, there isn't much consistency. Alfred Morris' name pops up a couple of times, and his weekly consistency should force fantasy owners to feel good about having him in their lineups. He's scored double-digit half-PPR points in each of his last three games, and has yet to score fewer than seven points under this type of format. He's as safe as they come.
Quarterback-wise, Matt Ryan, Philip Rivers and Terrelle Pryor seem to be the computer's favorites. While Rivers' is an obvious pick against one of the worst defenses in the league in Miami, Ryan and Pryor may not bring the type of comfort you want out of the quarterback slot. However, keep in mind that the last time Ryan faced the Bucs, he threw three touchdowns for over 21 fantasy points. Pryor, though he's not throwing the ball well and has a bummed knee, is facing a Texans secondary that's allowed five touchdowns through the air over their last two contests. With Pryor, you'll want to not slot him in a Thursday lineup, as there's always a chance he can't go on Sunday. Stay tuned.
It's not as though we're in love with the cheap dudes like teammates Anquan Boldin and Mario Manningham, but without them, we're unable to have two, three or four stud running backs in our lineups. If you like another cheap value instead - that's fine. The point values for these guys aren't substantial, but as always, their costs allow you to spend like a teenage girl on the high-floor, high-upside players.
