Every week, I join eight 50/50 leagues on FanDuel that start on Thursday in an attempt to not only win some cash, but to find selection trends. You see, once a game starts, the site conveniently tells you how many teams, in the form of a percentage, are using particular players. Given I join eight of them, the sample size is fairly significant, as this yields a 400-team group.

This isn’t an exact science, but it definitely can give you an idea of what to expect from your competition on the site. If you’re deciding between two guys with a similar price tag, perhaps this will help you move in a specific direction. After all, you don’t want your lineup to look identical to everyone else’s.
