Thursday Night Football: Can Brandon Jacobs Carry the Load?

If you were to name two talented quarterbacks in today’s NFL that could also be the poster children for throwing “What are you doing?” passes, it’d be hard to not pinpoint Jay Cutler and Eli Manning. Both tremendously gifted passers can sling the ball around the field, but both make consistent bonehead moves that make any football watcher cringe.

We have the pleasure of watching both of these passers on the same field tonight, and there’s a chance, because of their history and the fact that this is a Thursday Night Football game, we see one of the sloppiest games of the season. Will there be big plays? Of course – that’s what these quarterbacks do. Will it be ugly? Probably. At least on the Giants side of the ball.
