FanDuel Daily Fantasy Football Helper: Week 14

If you've never played daily fantasy football on FanDuel before, it's time to start. Unlike traditional leagues, you're able to select the players you want on that specific day only, giving you a different squad to root for each and every week.

Here at numberFire we offer great tools for premium members. The analysis below is meant to help you understand why some of these players are top picks in our tools and projections because we don't want you going into the weekend completely blind. We want to help you. Keep in mind, however, that things can change drastically if an injury is announced, so make sure you're double checking the tools and projections as close as possible to kickoff.

Let's get to it!

Quarterbacks

Jameis Winston, Tampa Bay Buccaneers ($8,200)

Although Jameis Winston has been somewhat hit or miss this season, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' quarterback has been excellent as of late, averaging 280.8 passing yards per game over his last five outings, with 9 touchdowns and just 3 interceptions over that span. Winston draws an elite matchup at home against a New Orleans Saints defense that ranks just 26th in the league in schedule-adjusted Defensive Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) per drop back in a game that features the largest over/under on the board (51 points).

Winston has been much better at home than on the road this season -- he is averaging 19.11 fantasy points at home, compared to just 16.99 on the road -- and with the Buccaneers locked in as 2.5-point favorites, they boast the highest implied team total on the board at 26.75 points. Winston can be had for a very reasonable price and is in play in all formats this week.
