Drew Brees, New Orleans Saints ($9,300)

The model of consistency over the last decade, Drew Brees has been one of the best quarterbacks in football yet again this season, leading the league in both passing yards (3,587) and touchdowns (30) while ranking inside the top 10 in Passing Net Expected Points, or NEP, (135.22) and Passing NEP per play (0.29).

This week, the future hall-of-famer draws an outstanding matchup against a Detroit Lions defense that ranks 29th in the league in schedule-adjusted Defensive Passing NEP and has allowed the second-most fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks. Brees is an elite play despite his expensive price tag.
