A Running Back to Target in Each Round of Your Fantasy Football Draft

Which running backs make for quality selections in each of the first 10 rounds of your draft?

It sounds cheesy, but draft season is so darn fun.

There is something incredibly enjoyable about assembling a team through a draft, starting with a blank roster, and slowly filling it up throughout a grinding process.

If you’re a degenerate like me, now is the time to put the final touches on months of work. All of the player news updates, sleeper stories, player-specific pieces and projections through which you’ve combed have set you up for success.

If you’re just starting draft preparations, that probably means you have a life, so good for you.

Fortunately, we’ve put together an all-encompassing, fully-customizable draft kit that can help you cram for the big exam. We also have a sweet new Draft Kit app. We want you to win your league more than you want to win your league.

This close to the start of the regular season, average draft position (ADP) data has pretty well sorted itself out. While every draft is its own entity, we can fairly accurately predict, on average, which players will be available at various points throughout the draft.

That information can be invaluable. It can keep you from reaching for a player in the middle rounds when chances are he’ll be available on your next turn, and it can also help you stay grounded if the draft goes against the grain.

With that in mind, let’s look at a running back in each of the first 10 rounds who is worth targeting in your fantasy football draft. Here is the current ADP for running backs, per Fantasy Football Calculator, which is the basis for all ADP data in this piece. This is for standard, 12-team leagues.
