The 10 Best Wide Receivers From the 2015 NFL Season
Antonio Brown was great again, but was he the NFL's top receiver based on analytics?

With the 2015 regular season in the books, it’s time to look back and evaluate the performances of the best players in the game.

Today, we’ll be looking at the top 10 wide receivers from the season. We’ll be using Net Expected Points (NEP) as our guide, specifically Reception NEP.

If you’re new to numberFire, NEP is our signature metric. NEP measures a player’s output versus expectations, based on a variety of factors dating back to 2000.

While it’s easy to rank receiving yards or touchdowns, NEP goes much further in determining the actual point value of each play (positive or negative) made by a player. By using Reception NEP, we can easily see who really provided their team with the most value from the wide receiver position.
