Ben Roethlisberger, QB, Pittsburgh Steelers

FanDuel Salary: $8,800
numberFire Projected Points: 21.29

Yeah, I know. I was so off on Ben Roethlisberger last week. But just about everyone else was, too. And while folks who employed the fade strategy on Big Ben last week were dancing in the streets, it's doubtful they really thought he'd put up a six-point clunker. And a complete fade was really risky given the way he'd been playing up until his Week 16 matchup against the Ravens.

But I'm going back to the well this week. Until his game against the Ravens, Roethlisberger had thrown for 300-plus yards in five of his previous six games. And in Week 17, with a matchup against the 21st-ranked Browns' pass defense, and a potential playoff spot on the line, it'd be reasonable to expect Roethlisberger to wash the stink off from his awful performance against the Ravens last week.

Don't let the Vegas line setting the Steelers as 11-point favorites take you off of him, either. Roethlisberger's 0.26 Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) per drop back ranks fourth in the league among quarterbacks with at least 400 passes this season. Which is essentially to say, even if the Steelers get up to a big lead that causes them to run the ball to eat clock and protect said lead, Roethlisberger's production is likely to be a big reason that they got that lead in the first place.

Roster Roethlisberger in both cash games and tournaments, trusting that last week was an aberration.
