8 FanDuel Studs to Target in Week 16

Sometimes in DFS, you can lose because of a missed chip shot field goal. Yes, I'm looking at you Matt Prater.

And sometimes, you can put together some of your best lineups, but because of the natural ebb and flow of football -- where some weekends we have multiple studs who are highly owned go off simultaneously -- you can still lose out.

This is what my life was like this past weekend.

But, luckily, we have two more weeks of regular season action to make up for what was a disappointing week for me and a fairly middling week for this column. Last week, our David Johnson, Julio Jones, and Matthew Stafford recommendations were money. Antonio Gates and Gary Barnidge each had serviceable if not outstanding days. And the Carson Palmer, Adrian Peterson, and A.J. Green recommendations fell short.

In Palmer's case, the high over/under in Philadelphia was attractive, and no one thought David Johnson would rush for three touchdowns, capping Palmer's overall output. And Peterson and Green both exited their respective games early, so they weren't bad recommendations per se, but the inherent volatility of football just took over.

But this week, we look to get back on the winning train. And to do so, we'll look at some of the studs who should populate your lineups for Week 16. So in the spirit of the holidays, hopefully these recommendations will help make your weekend as cheerful as possible. Let's get to it.
