10 Fantasy Football Sleepers for Week 12
Brian Hoyer is back from injury and facing a generous New Orleans Saints secondary.

Brian Hoyer, QB, Houston Texans

DeAndre Hopkins wasn't supposed to be able to do what he did last week against the New York Jets. The expectation was that Hopkins, stuck on Revis Island without his starting quarterback, would be lucky to have an average day. Well those expectations were wrong.

Hopkins took advantage of Darrelle Revis to the tune of 5 catches for 118 yards and 2 touchdowns. And now he gets to take on the New Orleans Saints' league worst pass defense -- in terms of our Adjusted Defensive Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) per play metric -- yikes.

As Hopkins goes, so does his quarterback, Brian Hoyer. While Hoyer lacks elite talent, his pairing with one of the league's most talented wide receivers more than compensates for this. And as we witnessed two weeks ago, Kirk Cousins was able to exploit this secondary on the way to a Washington blow-out victory.

Hoyer finds himself at QB12 in our rankings this week and carries a ton of upside. Unless you've got an elite signal caller plugged in as your weekly quarterback, you may want to give Hoyer a nice long look.
