Quarterbacks

High-Cost Option: Carson Palmer $7,100

Coming off a four-touchdown performance last week, schedule-adjusted metrics. $7,100 is a bit of a price uptick for Palmer (highest of the season), but he has shown consistency and value against more difficult defenses recently, averaging 29.8 fantasy points over his last three games.

Mid-Cost Option: Ben Roethlisberger $6,700

The Steelers travel to Seattle this week, and if they have hopes of coming out with a victory, they're going to need a big game from Ben Roethlisberger. Given an extra week to prepare for the Seahawks following their bye week, Big Ben and the Steelers will look to exploit Seattle's pass defense, which has fallen off as of late, as a way to circumvent their terrific run defense. Seattle isn't giving up a ton to the quarterback position as far as fantasy points, but some of the top-half signal callers in the league -- Cam Newton (21.76), Aaron Rodgers (22.26), Carson Palmer (26.32), and Andy Dalton (31.04) have put up solid numbers against them that would exceed Roethlisberger's value threshold. As road underdogs by 4.5 points, Pittsburgh could be forced to throw to stay in this game and the potential fantasy points that Roethlisberger could put up.

Low-Cost Option: Brian Hoyer $5,000

Returning to action this week, Brian Hoyer presents a fantastic opportunity to save at the quarterback position with only a $5,000 price tag. This game between Houston and New Orleans has the highest projected combined score of the week and could lead to plenty of fantasy points for Hoyer. The Saints are giving up the most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks and have allowed the most passing touchdowns and second-most passing yards per game. With Hoyer's top target DeAndre Hopkins tearing through tough matchups, the pair gets a cakewalk this Thanksgiving weekend and could go nuclear at home in Houston.

GPP Wildcard: Josh McCown $5,000

At only $5,000, Josh McCown deserves exposure this week after what he was able to put up against the Ravens in their Week 5 matchup. McCown finished that game with 457 passing yards and a pair of touchdowns. Baltimore is allowing the second-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks and the sixth-most passing touchdowns. McCown has a terrific ceiling at home in this matchup and could easily hit value after throwing for multiple touchdowns in five of his last six games.
