FanDuel Studs to Target in Week 10

Trying to figure out which studs should populate your FanDuel lineups in Week 10? Look no further because we've got you covered.

Week 10 is shaping up to be a weird one for daily fantasy football players.

On tap we have two games with projected double-digit spreads (and four more that exceed six points), and four games with over/unders at or exceeding 48 points. This could be a high-flying, action-filled football weekend, with tough choices to make at multiple positions. To help you navigate these choices, as we do in this column every week, we'll provide you with stud options worth paying up for to anchor your lineups. But before we move on to some of the studs you should be targeting for your FanDuel lineups, let's quickly review how we did last week.

The "hits" last week included Ben Roethlisberger, Devonta Freeman, Antonio Brown, Mike Evans, and Delanie Walker, who all met or wildly exceeded value. Antonio Gates graces the "miss" list, but I'd do that one all over again given the absence of Keenan Allen as it's good process to target players who figure to see expanded roles due to injuries that surround them. Philip Rivers also disappointed with his worst fantasy showing of the season in a really nice matchup. Selecting Rivers was also good process given the high over/under and plush matchup against the Bears.

Finally, Mark Ingram also seemed like a good play, and he did get all of the teams' red zone carries as projected with Khiry Robinson's season-ending injury, however, he was unable to convert any of those opportunities into touchdowns. Ingram's 0.04 Rushing Net Expected Points (NEP) per rush shows he's an overall efficient rusher, but his 38.57% Rushing Success Rate is more concerning, suggesting he's had to rely on bigger runs to achieve efficiency this season. Still, the Titans were a bottom-10 rushing defense, and the Saints were projected to win by a lot, so the process was there even if the results weren't. Ingram's lack of consistency this season has me off of him for cash games this weekend, despite another fine matchup against the Redskins. He may very well be a good tournament play, however, with expected low ownership and a nice matchup to boot.
