Another week, another good time to roster Philip Rivers in cash and tournament lineups. This week Rivers gets a tasty matchup against the Baltimore Ravens, who through Week 7 have surrendered the most fantasy points to quarterbacks per game of any team in the league.

Rivers has been absolutely dealing from a fantasy football perspective this season and is currently on pace to break the single season record for passing yards set by Peyton Manning in 2013. Most of this has to do with the fact that he is forced into more drop backs because the Chargers can't get the run game going and the offensive line has been dealing with injured starters. As a result, Rivers has 32 more passing attempts than Joe Flacco, the quarterback with the second highest passing attempts in the NFL through Week 7.

With the Ravens housing the 10th best run defense and the 22nd best passing defense per our numbers, the Chargers will likely have to continue finding success through the air. And despite the Chargers having to make the west-to-east-coast trip to Baltimore, it's worth noting (despite the imperfect comparison) that these two teams squared off against each other last season in Baltimore. The result? Rivers throwing for 383 yards and 3 touchdowns in a come-from-behind 34-33 win.

With the highest over/under of the weekend slate at 50.5 and a spread of 3.5 in Baltimore's favor, the potential for Rivers playing catch up ball combined with the matchup against the woeful Ravens' secondary is too juicy to ignore. Fire Rivers up again this week.
