Derek Carr and the Raiders threw the ball a whole lot last year, all things considered. Will things change in 2015?

Sometimes teams just don't have a choice. Sometimes when they want to run, but they just can't.

Defense can play a role in this. If a squad continuously sees negative game scripts, they're going to be forced to throw in order to come back into games.

Personnel is important here, too. When a team doesn't field a strong enough running back or offensive line, that team won't feel good about running the ball throughout a game.
