It looks like Jonathan Stewart ($3,800) will get another chance to prove that he’s the best option at running back for the Carolina Panthers (not that he hasn’t all year). Stewart has consistently looked like the Panthers best back in terms of Rushing Net Expected Points (NEP). Stewart's success rate - measuring the percentage of rushes that add positively to Carolina's expected output - is 45.36 percent. DeAngelo Williams checks in at 38.10 percent. Williams is set to miss Sunday’s game due to a fractured finger, which means Stewart will be the guy.

What makes Stewart more valuable than his counterparts in Carolina is his ability to catch passes out of the backfield, which just so happens to be extremely beneficial on DraftKings with full PPR scoring. Stewart has added 7.01 points for his team in terms of Reception NEP, and no other back in Carolina comes close to that.

Not to mention, the matchup is also advantageous for Stewart, as the New Orleans Saints rank 28th against running backs in fantasy points and rank last in the league in Adjusted Defensive Rushing NEP. The volume and matchup are both there, which is exactly what you want with a punt play.
