8 Big-Name Players Who Could Disappoint in Week 10
This past Tuesday was Election Day for our American readers, marking a very important midterm election that held a great amount of importance to both houses of the U.S. Congress, and many state and local elections. I have my own very specific views on politics, but my most important view has nothing to do with parties, issues, or anything divisive like that: I simply believe that everyone that can vote should vote.
For most of you reading this, you live in countries that have governmental systems that allow you to participate and affect positive change in your communities through voting. Some are more efficient than others, some are more corrupt and stagnant, but the point is that the simplest way to have your voice heard is by casting a ballot whenever you can. I know many people get discouraged and think that when they vote, it doesn't matter. Yet, the way to make a change isn't to become apathetic and stop contributing; it's to work for progress.
In the same way, we've reached Week 10 of the NFL season, and injuries, scandals, and just downright bad luck have ravaged our fantasy teams. Many teams with middling records (or worse) are about ready to throw in the towel on the year and stop caring. You may see your squad with a 3-6 record and think: "What's the point?" There are still (in most leagues) five weeks of the season left to play! With a tiny bit of effort, some research into the candidates, and just getting up and going to the waiver wire and casting your claims, you can affect real change for your team in the upcoming weeks.
With that in mind, this is your Election Guide for Week 10: Which typical starting lineup candidates are bound to underperform this week?
