What exactly does 12 touchdowns in two games mean? Well, per Chris Chris Wesseling of NFL.com, half of the starting quarterbacks in the entire league have fewer touchdowns than Roethlisberger does over the last two weeks. And for you fantasy footballers, according to Tristan Cockcroft of ESPN, no signal-caller, since 1960, has scored more fantasy points than Big Ben has over this two-game stretch.

Our metrics, naturally, see superior quarterback play like we've never seen before. Through the first seven weeks of the season, Roethlisberger had compiled a Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) total of 22.96. That increased to 56.79 (or by 33.83 points) after Week 8, and Ben now will see a jump of about 26 Passing NEP after this one.

To put that into perspective, his Passing NEP total over his last two games is greater than what Matt Ryan has put together throughout the entire 2014 season.

The Steelers now get a Jets defense next week that's surrendered at least two passing touchdowns in every game this season. Could Ben do it again?
