DraftKings Daily Fantasy Football: Top Punt Plays for Week 5
Trying to round out your daily fantasy football lineup with cheaper players? Here are a handful of guys that may be worth a look.

Chris Ivory, RB, New York Jets

At a price of only $3,100, Chris Ivory is an excellent play this week on the road against the San Diego Chargers. According to our metrics, he’s the fourth-best running back in the NFL with a Rushing Net Expected Points (NEP) total of 8.40, and is seeing a very similar workload through four games (50 carries) to Marshawn Lynch (52) and Eddie Lacy (53).

That’s fantastic value for his price.

The Chargers are slightly above average against the run, and give up just the 17th most fantasy points to running backs. However, I would expect the Jets to try and run the ball early to keep quarterback Geno Smith comfortable in a hostile environment.

Even if the Jets fall behind and have to abandon the running game, Ivory is still a good bet to get goal-line touches. He is far and away the better option at running back in comparison to Chris Johnson (-1.28 Rushing NEP), and the Jets have finally realized that.
