Injuries Are the Worst

At the start of Sunday’s action, Dez Bryant went to the sideline to get his shoulder checked. “No big deal,” I said to myself. “Even if he misses the game, that’s just one big star during this Week 2.”

Soon after, Robert Griffin III ran to the sidelined and hurt – really hurt – his ankle. AJ Green then left the game with a toe injury, DeSean Jackson exited his contest with a hurt shoulder, and Ryan Mathews was carted off with a banged up knee.

To top it all off, consensus top-two fantasy football draft selection Jamaal Charles missed the majority of his game against the Broncos after an ankle injury in the first quarter. I can’t even make this up.

And you may be wondering, but no, Marques Colston didn’t get hurt. He just wasn’t targeted in a game where Drew Brees threw 40 times. That's just the life of a Marques Colston owner.
