Fantasy Football: 5 Undrafted Free Agents to Keep on Your Radar

Ashton Dulin, WR, Indianapolis Colts

The Indianapolis Colts sure have seemed to know what they're doing these past two drafts. Even their free agent signings have me excited for this team's future, starting with former Malone University standout Ashton Dulin.

Dulin was one of the rare few small-school wide receivers to receive an invitation to this year's scouting combine. And Malone is seriously small in the eyes of the NFL -- Dulin is the school's first ever player to receive an invitation to that event.

The invite was not unwarranted, either. Dulin posted a 60.9% (99th-percentile) dominator rating -- the highest rating in this year's class -- in his final year at school and produced from his age-18 freshman season. He seriously flashed at the combine, too. He blazed a 4.43-second 40-yard dash at 6'1" and 215 pounds, good for a 93rd-percentile speed score on PlayerProfiler.com.

He's the exact prototype of a small school wide receiver to keep an eye on in the post-draft process: extremely productive in college, productive from an early age, and a stud athlete. So, yeah, it seems like the Colts signed themselves a good player in Dulin.

Obviously, catching passes from Andrew Luck is a boon for fantasy production for any receiver, but that's not the only reason the Colts are an ideal landing spot for undrafted free agents. The Colts -- perhaps more than any other team -- have demonstrated a willingness to give real playing time to undrafted pass-catchers. Jack Doyle, Chester Rogers, Dontrelle Inman and Zach Pascal each garnered ample targets in the 2018 Colts offense despite going undrafted in their respective drafts.

Dulin hit the jackpot when he signed with the Colts after the 2019 Draft and is absolutely a name you should be aware of heading into the fantasy season.
