On this weekend's slate, Melvin Gordon clocks in as the second-most expensive running back on both sites. Given the lack of high-tier options, should we be firing him into lineups?
All signs are pointing definitively to no. The Baltimore Ravens, Gordon's opponent, rank fifth against the run this season per our metrics, and since their bye they have yet to allow any team to rush for 100 yards. Only the Tampa Bay Buccaneers averaged over four yards per carry against them:
