Fantasy Football: 4 Bold Predictions for Week 15

Following a disappointing showing, look for Chris Godwin to show us what he's got. What other unexpected outcomes should we expect in Week 15?

It's starting to feel like Thursday Night Football is the best time for bold predictions. I mean, who would have guessed that Mike Williams would pretty much single-handedly beat the Kansas City Chiefs? If I had to assume, I would have to say it would be the same people who assumed that Derrick Henry would have a legendary night against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Maybe I'm just a little bitter about how last week's predictions went. Rex Burkhead had an unmemorable performance against a malleable Miami Dolphins defense. I don't think that Tre'Quan Smith could have had a more disappointing week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Aaron Rodgers looked fine in Week 14, but was no fantasy hero. Michael Gallup continued to rack up points in every metric other than fantasy points -- seriously, he had the eighth-most air yards among wideouts last week. And lastly, Giovani Bernard had less than a sixth of Joe Mixon's touches in a surprisingly competitive game, so it was no surprise that Mixon vastly outscored him for fantasy.

We can't predict the future. If we could, there would be not point to fantasy football. Predetermined outcomes would erase hope. And if you're in your fantasy playoffs -- or trying to avoid your league's last-place punishment -- you have to lean at least a little bit on hope.

So that's what we're going to talk about this week. We won't talk about players who will surprisingly underperform. Instead, we're going to exclusively talk about players who will help you shoot for the stars and win despite all odds. Here are four bold predictions for Week 15.
