Lamar Jackson, QB, Baltimore Ravens

The torch has been passed, and Lamar Jackson will remain the starting quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens even with Joe Flacco healthy.

Jackson not only earned himself a starting job over these last four weeks, but he also established himself as a strong fantasy football option, though somehow remains available in over 50% of leagues.

In his four starts, Jackson has yet to finish with fewer than 15.9 fantasy points and yet to finish worse than fantasy football's QB15. He's averaging 17.9 fantasy points per game in that stretch, and while the QB17 ranking that would earn him isn't anything special, his consistency puts him in play in most matchups, while this week's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers gives him some serious upside as well.

numberFire's schedule-adjusted metrics have the Bucs ranked only 27th in pass defense, and the 20.9 fantasy points per game they have allowed to quarterbacks is the fourth-most in the NFL.

Tampa has already allowed four 30-plus rushing yard performances to quarterbacks, and with Jackson topping 11 carries and 70 rushing yards in each of his four starts, he should benefit from both the run-friendly and pass-friendly nature of this matchup.
