Currently available in more than 90% of Yahoo leagues, Ian Thomas will be a hot waiver wire option in Week 15 after leading all tight ends in targets (11) last Sunday.

Thomas was filling in for an injured Greg Olsen, and he played 82% of the offensive snaps. The rookie tight end finished the game with 77 yards and a team-high 9 catches, checking in as the TE5 in PPR leagues in Week 14.

Over the last two weeks, Thomas has 14 catches and 123 yards for 26.3 PPR points, the fifth-most of any tight end. In Week 15, the Panthers will do battle with the high-flying New Orleans Saints. In an expected shootout, the Panthers are 6.5-point underdogs, which will likely force them to lean on the pass.

While the Saints have played well against tight ends, their pass defense is susceptible to big games as they have allowed the fifth-most passing yards (271.0) per game this year. Just last week, Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Cameron Brate scored two touchdowns. This week, Thomas will be in a good spot to find the end zone for the first time in his career.
