Demaryius Thomas, WR, Houston Texans

Yahoo Ownership: 92%

We touched on Demaryius Thomas in this column a few weeks ago. He then turned around and exploded with a two-touchdown game the very next week. That definitely stung, but even with that two-score game, Thomas has remained a droppable fantasy player since his trade to the Houston Texans.

Thomas was relatively inefficient to start the season, but since moving to Texas back in Week 9, he's been just plain ineffective for fantasy. He has eclipsed 60 receiving yards in just one game in that time and has no more than four receptions in any single game with Deshaun Watson as his quarterback.

Even in his two-score game, he scored only 17.8 fantasy points because of his low receptions and yardage totals. What should have been a huge game turned into just an above-average one, because Thomas' upside is gone. He's drawing just a 14 percent share of the Texans' passing targets, and he isn't efficient enough to convert those into exciting fantasy numbers.

If you absolutely need to start Thomas, that's fine. The upside we've seen out of him in the past has disappeared, but he's still a starting wide receiver on a Watson-led team. If you already have enough starters at the wide receiver position, you can drop Thomas to stash a defense or a handcuff.
