Josh Allen, QB, Buffalo Bills

Josh Allen was a popular recommendation last week, but he's still widely available in most formats, so it's worth seeing if he's on the market in case you aren't thrilled with your quarterback situation.

With rushing totals of 99, 135, and 101 yards over the last three games, Allen is averaging 111.7 yards on the ground to go with two rushing scores over that span. He's averaging a modest 199 passing yards with only 3 passing touchdowns during this stretch -- not to mention 5 turnovers -- but as long as Allen is running like this, he'll continue to possess both a high floor and ceiling in the fantasy world.

After all, in that trio of games, he's put up fantasy scores of 26.3, 28.7, and 18.3 points. It's almost like starting a running back who also happens to gain points through the air.

It also doesn't hurt that his Week 15 matchup comes against the Detroit Lions, who entered the weekend as the 30th-ranked overall defense by numberFire's schedule-adjusted metrics. Allen may be lacking in pass-catching weapons, and the results may not always be pretty in real life, but it's hard to ignore the numbers the dual-threat is putting up, and he's unlikely to slow down this week.
