Facing a surging Cowboys' defense on the road this week, Carson Wentz checks in as an easy fade at the quarterback position.

Wentz simply hasn't been the same player he was in 2017, and the Eagles' offense as a unit has struggled to maintain momentum from their championship season a year ago. Wentz has averaged just 12.6 FanDuel points over the last three weeks, and Philadelphia has a meager 20.25 implied team total here, making this entire offense less than desirable.

On the other side, the Cowboys are coming off of a defensive demolition against the Saints last Thursday, and have a few extra days of rest heading into this NFC East showdown. Dallas has utilized their running game to control tempo and the clock, and their defense has been a huge part of their recent success. The Cowboys have allowed the seventh-fewest passing yards per game as a unit, and the emergence of Byron Jones as a true shutdown corner has buoyed their secondary to an elite level.

With the likelihood of a slow pace, a brutal matchup, and a sputtering offense, Wentz is best left alone in Week 14.
