Lamar Jackson, QB, Baltimore Ravens

Yahoo Ownership: 42%

If Lamar Jackson sticks as the Ravens' starting quarterback, he's going to flirt with QB1 numbers on a weekly basis, and he offers hard-to-match upside at the quarterback position.

Of course, the key word there is "if" he is the starting signal caller. Ideally, we'd get some clarification on Monday on the quarterback situation in Baltimore. That way we'd know how much of a priority Jackson should be for us. Obviously, if the Ravens go back to Joe Flacco, then Jackson belongs on the waiver wire.

Per reports, Flacco is ready to resume practicing, but Jackson may hold onto the job. While we can't make any set-in-stone conclusions from a two-game sample, especially considering the contests were against the Bengals and Raiders, Jackson has given the Baltimore offense a lift -- 409.5 yards per game in Jackson's two starts, compared to 366.4 per game in Flacco's nine starts -- so it wouldn't be shocking to see the rookie under center the rest of the way.

Fantasy-wise, Jackson has 15.90 and 20.22 fantasy points in his two starts. What he can do with his legs -- 37 carries, 190 yards and a score the past two weeks -- makes him an incredibly unique fantasy asset. With games against the Falcons, Chiefs and Buccaneers over the next three weeks, Jackson has the potential to be a big-time difference maker down the stretch.

If Jackson is already owned or Flacco gets the nod, Dak Prescott, who is available in 53% of Yahoo leagues, is a great option. Dak is rolling, and he'll take on the Saints and banged-up Eagles, both in Big D, over the next two weeks. After that, he's at the Colts before a Week 16 home game with Tampa Bay, so, yeah, that's a nice stretch.
