5 Historical Vegas Trends You Should Know for Week 12
What do the odds say about Week 12 for certain players -- like David Johnson's splits as an underdog -- and how can your fantasy football team benefit?

David Johnson Fears No Deficit

In Franklin D. Roosevelt's first inaugural address, he asserted his now famous quote, "The only thing we have to fear is negative game-script."

David Johnson, however, has no fear. He's played in 43 games in his career. Seven of those have been games where the Arizona Cardinals were underdogs by a field goal or more. He's averaged 21 points in these games on the back of unrelenting volume -- 17.6 carries per game and 5.9 targets per game.

This week, the Cardinals face the Los Angeles Chargers as 11.5-point underdogs (stay up to date with line movement using our DFS heat map). Johnson has had no problem overcoming poor game flow and in three games as offensive coordinator, Byron Leftwhich has given him 20.7 carries and 5.3 targets per game. Johnson has been used heavily no matter the situation throughout his career. A large deficit against the Chargers shouldn't scare fantasy players off this week.
