Jacksonville Jaguars

FanDuel Price: $4,800
numberFire Projection: 8.6 FanDuel points

Despite being on a six-game losing streak, the Jacksonville Jaguars' defense is as fierce as ever. The unit ranks in the top nine in total yards (319.5) and points allowed (21.9) per game while sitting 10th overall in our scheduled-adjusted ranks. Over their last three games, Jacksonville has registered six sacks and six turnovers while holding top-five scoring offenses in the Indianapolis Colts and Pittsburgh Steelers to 24.5 points per game. They have recorded at least eight FanDuel points in two of their last three games as well. This week they get to flex their muscle again as they square off with the Buffalo Bills in a defensive slugfest.

The game comes in with the lowest over/under of the week (37.5) as the Bills' offense is one of the worst in the NFL this season. They are averaging a league-low 13.7 points while turning it over an average of 2.2 times per game. Their passing attack ranks 32nd in the league, per our metrics, and average just 160 passing yards per game. While Josh Allen (who should return this week) or Matt Barkley do represent upgrades over Derek Anderson and Nathan Peterman, that is not saying much.

Of the 34 quarterbacks to attempt at least 100 passes this season, Allen is last in touchdown passes (2), completion percentage (53.5%), and Success Rate (35.6%). The rookie QB has also been sacked 21 times in just six games. That’s an average of 3.5 per game -- only Eli Manning has been dropped more often per game.
