Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens

Because of the quarterback Armageddon we saw in Week 11, there's a large number of low-owned starters to choose from this week. None of them can match Lamar Jackson's upside.

As of Tuesday morning, it's not a stone-cold lock Jackson gets the start in Week 12. Joe Flacco could be back, although it's looking unlikely early in the week. If Jackson gets the nod, he will possess massive upside in a delectable home matchup with the Oakland Raiders.

Because of his running ability, Jackson was always going to offer a solid fantasy floor with a mouth-watering ceiling. But now that we know the Ravens are willing to let him run wild, it's hard not to be giddy about Jackson's fantasy prospects. The rookie ran the ball 27 times in Week 11, gaining 117 yards. He supplemented that with 150 passing yards.

The Raiders present about as good of a matchup as you could dream of as they rank third-worst in overall defense and fourth-worst in passing defense, per our schedule-adjusted metrics. Oakland is giving up the 11th-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. Surely, the Ravens won't let Jackson sustain a workload of 20-some rushes per game, but even with a drop in carries, Jackson's upside is tantalizing in a matchup in which Baltimore has a 26.75-point implied total, the sixth-best clip of the week.

Our models project Flacco and Jackson for a combined 19.61 fantasy points in Week 12, making "Ravens' quarterback" our QB11 for the week if they were one player. And after this week, Baltimore has a sublime stretch coming up, playing Atlanta, Kansas City and Tampa Bay the next three games. If Jackson is able to hold onto the starting gig past Week 12, he could be a big-time difference maker as the fantasy regular season winds down.
