3 Fantasy Football Defensive Streaming Options for Week 11

Over the past two weeks, it's been a similar story for our streaming picks with our top choice floundering, but the other two options posting top-10 scores.

In Week 10, the New York Jets flopped in a matchup against the Buffalo Bills, but the Los Angeles Chargers and Green Bay Packers both posted top-5 scores. The Jets were 7.0-point home favorites against the Bills on Sunday, but fell 41-10, allowing Matt Barkley to carve up the defense in his first start since January 2017.

If the past two weeks remind us of anything, it's that you shouldn't burn a high waiver priority on a defense, regardless of how pristine the matchup appears. There will always be other options available after waivers process.

With the Jets dismal performance this past week, our top streaming option is now averaging 10.9 points per game. That's still the second best per game average among all defenses, trailing only the Chicago Bears (12.3).

Heading into Week 11, we're targeting two home teams facing sputtering offenses and one road team looking to bounce back from a blowout in Week 10.

As always, every week in this column we search the waiver wire to identify low-owned teams set up with a great matchup. The focus is on teams owned in about 50% or fewer of Yahoo fantasy leagues. Our goal is to identify teams poised to be a top-12 scorer (start-able in standard leagues) for that given week.
