5 DraftKings Bargains for Week 10
Following Cleveland's coaching change, Duke Johnson showed new signs of life last week and could be a popular value play on DraftKings in Week 10.

Baker Mayfield, QB, Cleveland Browns

DraftKings Price: $5,400

Projected Points: 19.09

Projected Value (points per $1,000): 3.54

Atlanta has some recency bias surrounding them as of late, for reasons favoring Baker Mayfield this week. The Atlanta Falcons came out of the gates in Week 9 guns blazing, holding the Washington Redskins to 14 points -- the lowest any team has scored against them. Recently, Mayfield hasn't been great by any means, but hasn't been bad for fantasy purposes either.

Using the opposing offense against the Falcons' defense has been a staple on a weekly basis in DFS, and the Redskins weren't on the radar last week, but that might be attributable to Alex Smith being hardly rosterable this season. Besides Nick Foles, Smith produced the worst performance on a Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) per play basis against the Falcons this season (0.16). Atlanta is still one of the worst pass defenses in the league, ranking in the bottom three.

Against Atlanta, quarterbacks have averaged 316.9 passing yards, 2.3 touchdowns and 0.8 interceptions, while completing 69% of their passes. This amounts to allowing the third-most DraftKings points to the position. Mayfield is far from what Smith is, as he is willing to take deeper shots downfield. For comparison, his average depth of target this season (8.9) is 1.3 air yards higher than Smith. Mayfield has 23% of his passes traveling 15 yards or more which is tops in the league.

There will also be a popular player from his team that some will be targeting -- who we will be get to shortly -- and stacking him with Baker will be a nice way to capture correlation within a lineup.
