Although the Kansas City Chiefs' offense gets all of the headlines, the defense has been solid from a fantasy perspective. Over the past four weeks, the Chiefs have finished as a top-eight fantasy defense three times and they now square off against a Browns team that has been one of the most fantasy-friendly to opposing defenses.

Each of the past three teams to face the Browns have finished as a top-11 defense, but that was with Jackson and Haley at the helm. With Jackson and Haley fired, defensive coordinator Gregg Williams takes over as head coach and former running backs coach Freddie Kitchens will become offensive coordinator.

While the Browns' offense may very well improve with the departures of Haley and Jackson, they're still a good target for fantasy defenses in Week 9. The Chiefs are 7.5-point road favorites in this matchup, and the Browns defense should struggle to slow down a Chiefs offense that has scored fewer than 30 points in just one game all season.

That should force Baker Mayfield to drop back and pass often, which could lead to more sacks for a Chiefs defense that has already racked up the second-most sacks (24) on the season. Despite only seeing the field in 6 games this year, Mayfield has been sacked 20 times, 10th-most among all quarterbacks. The rookie has been sacked multiple times in each of his five starts and he's committed at least one turnover in four of them.

Sacks and turnovers are the driver behind a great fantasy performance for defenses and there's plenty of potential for the Chiefs to pile up both against Mayfield.
