The darling of fantasy football through the seasons' first several weeks, Alvin Kamara took a firm back to seat to Mark Ingram in the Saints' last game in Week 5. We knew Kamara's gargantuan workload was bound to take a hit once Ingram returned from suspension, but the fact that he only received nine touches was surprising. Moving forward, coach Sean Payton has vowed to balance the backfield touches, which still puts a dent in Kamara's fantasy stock.

In addition to the drop in volume, Kamara and the Saints have a brutal matchup on the road this week against the Baltimore Ravens. Vegas has New Orleans projected for only 23.75 points in this one, a steep drop from their 37.6-point season average. The Ravens are allowing the third-fewest rushing yards per game (82.8), as well as the second-fewest passing yards per game (214.7). Given Kamara's prowess as both a runner and a receiver, he faces a stiff test in both areas this week.

There will be weeks in the future where Kamara's efficiency more than makes up for his lack of volume with Ingram back in the fold. This is not one of those spots, however, making Kamara an easy avoid in week 7.
