Between the Lines: Week 6 Snap Count Analysis
Snap counts can give us vital information about which players could pop in future weeks. Who should we be watching after Week 6?

AFC North

Baltimore Ravens - Hayden Still Waiting to Make an Impact

Quarterbacks: Joe Flacco (100%), Lamar Jackson (3%)

Running Backs: Alex Collins (38%), Javorius Allen (37%)

Wide Receivers: Willie Snead (72%), Michael Crabtree (54%), John Brown (54%), Chris Moore (51%)

Tight Ends: Nick Boyle (63%), Maxx Williams (45%), Mark Andrews (26%), Hayden Hurst (24%)

Hayden Hurst has now been back for two games, but he has yet to make an impact. Frankly, making an impact isn't easy when three other tight ends on your team are seeing more playing time. Hurst saw just one target and one carry, garnering no catches for no yards. He may be worth a look once he's further recovered from injury and gets more playing time, but for now he's an afterthought.

Cincinnati Bengals - Uzomah Proves Himself

Quarterback: Andy Dalton (100%)

Running Backs: Joe Mixon (69%), Mark Walton (31%)

Wide Receivers: A.J. Green (93%), Tyler Boyd (93%), Alex Erickson (75%)

Tight End: C.J. Uzomah (92%)

With Tyler Eifert and Tyler Kroft out, C.J. Uzomah was set up for a big game, and he had exactly that. His six catches, seven targets, and 54 yards all marked season-highs, and he was on the field for 92% of the Bengals' offensive plays. The job is his from here on out, and at a thin position, he is worth picking up if he's still on your waiver wire.

Cleveland Browns - Ratley Worth a Flier?

Quarterback: Baker Mayfield (100%)

Running Backs: Duke Johnson (47%), Carlos Hyde (43%), Nick Chubb (9%)

Wide Receivers: Jarvis Landry (91%), Antonio Callaway (97%), Damion Ratley (88%)

Tight Ends: David Njoku (81%), Darren Fells (26%)

The Cleveland Browns were clearly outmatched on Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers. As such, Baker Mayfield was forced into passing early and often. The biggest beneficiary of that this week was Damion Ratley, who saw his snap counts percentage jump from zero to 88%. Ratley got his chance due to Rashard Higgins' absence due to an MCL sprain. With Higgins likely out again this week, Ratley could once again see a lot of playing time in a plus matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He finished this week with 6 catches on 8 targets for 82 yards, which is certainly repeatable next week. If you are desperate for a wideout this week, you could do much worse than taking a flier on Ratley.

Pittsburgh Steelers - Vance Continues His Climb

Quarterback: Ben Roethlisberger (100%)

Running Backs: James Conner (90%)

Wide Receivers: Antonio Brown (86%), JuJu Smith-Schuster (68%), James Washington (22%), Justin Hunter (19%)

Tight Ends: Jesse James (70%), Vance McDonald (70%)

Vance McDonald's playing time has steadily increased throughout the season, but Sunday marked a milestone. McDonald finally hit 70% of the Pittsburgh Steelers' offensive snaps, and he didn't put that time to waste. He was Big Ben's most common (well, only) target early on, and he finished the win over the Cincinnati Bengals with seven catches on eight targets, which was second on the team to only JuJu. If he's for some strange reason still on your waiver wire, he's a must-own at this point as he's looking like he could put up Heath Miller heyday numbers.
