Baker Mayfield, QB, Cleveland Browns

Baker Mayfield, last year's Heisman Trophy winner, stepped in for an injured Tyrod Taylor in Week 3 and guided the Cleveland Browns to their first win in what must have felt like eons to members of the Dawg Pound.

While his completion percentage dropped off a cliff against the Oakland Raiders in Week 4, the Browns were in position to win the game late but ended up taking the loss in overtime. He made up for it this Sunday, however.

Working at home as an underdog against the Baltimore Ravens, Mayfield completed 25 of 43 passes for 342 yards, a touchdown, and an interception. He tacked on 23 rushing yards for good measure, helping the Browns to a 12-9 win in overtime.

With the victory, the Browns are now 2-2-1. They'll look to get over .500 this week in a home tilt against a Los Angeles Chargers team that -- sans Joey Bosa -- has sacked opposing quarterbacks just eight times this season, tied for 22nd in the league.

While no total has been set yet, the Chargers are only one-point favorites over Browns. Vegas is starting to believe in Cleveland, and Mayfield is a big reason why. If you need a spot start and Winston has already been grabbed, you could do a lot worse than the former Sooner.
