5 Players You Can Drop After Week 4
Chris Hogan has underperformed this season in spite of a prime opportunity, and now Julian Edelman is back. Which other fantasy players can be dropped after Week 4?

Robby Anderson, WR, New York Jets

How the mighty have fallen. Undrafted free agent Robby Anderson was a breakout sensation at wide receiver for the New York Jets last season, posting 941 receiving yards and 7 touchdowns with 63 catches on 114 targets despite an abhorrently bad offensive season for the team as a whole. We all assumed that with a better quarterbacking situation in 2018, Anderson would improve even further for fantasy production.

Clearly, that hasn’t been the case. Rookie passer Sam Darnold has still offered some quality looks to Anderson, but just 16 of them through four games. Instead, Darnold’s affection has been focused on slot receiver Quincy Enunwa, who has 37 targets to this point in the season.

Anderson is still the second-most targeted wideout on the team and is still playing plenty of snaps, but he is no longer the engine the Gang Green runs through; Darnold’s tendency to throw short is preventing the vertical receiver from being that. Although he’ll have big weeks here and there, without the target share being split favorably in his direction and with a rookie quarterback, Anderson can be safely dropped.
