Joe Flacco, QB, Baltimore Ravens

Yahoo! Ownership: 23%

Not since 2014 has Joe Flacco been even close to a top-12 fantasy quarterback. He finished as the QB13 that season but has ranked outside of the top 20 the last three seasons. Through three games this year, the Baltimore Ravens' signal caller is back in the fantasy discussion.

Averaging 296.3 passing yards and 2.0 touchdowns per game this season, Flacco currently ranks as the QB14 in fantasy. The quarterback is posting some impressive efficiency numbers, too, with a career-best 4.7% touchdown and 1.6% interception rate. His 21.8 Passing Net Expected Points, ranks him ninth out of the 31 quarterbacks to attempt at least 80 passes this season.

The Ravens appear to have opened the playbook up as well, with Flacco averaging 6.9 yards per attempt and 43.0 pass attempts per game, the highest he has posted in over five seasons. He will look to keep the good times rolling in an expected shootout with the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday night.

The AFC North divisional showdown carries the second-highest over/under of Week 4, thanks to the suspect D of Pittsburgh. The Steelers are fresh off allowing Ryan Fitzpatrick to throw for 411 yards and 3 touchdowns on Monday night. Patrick Mahomes lit them up for 300-plus and 6 touchdowns the week before. For the year, Pittsburgh has allowed the third-most fantasy points to quarterbacks.
