Blake Bortles, QB, Jacksonville Jaguars

Price: $6,700

Blake Bortles has only seen his salary climb $200 after exploding for 33.6 FanDuel points against the New England Patriots last week. He is the 19th-most expensive quarterback on the main slate despite being the current QB8 in fantasy football. He also hasn't finished any worse than QB13 in any of the last three seasons. The only time he hasn't been a top-13 quarterback was his 2014 rookie campaign, when he played only 14 games.

So, already, before we even get into his matchup, it should catch our eye when Bortles is this cheap.

Making things even better, he'll be up against the Tennessee Titans this week. The Titans gave up 310 yards and 2 touchdowns through the air (as well as 44 yards on the ground) to Deshaun Watson last week, and they opened the season allowing Ryan Tannehill to complete 71.4% of his passes for 230 yards and 2 touchdowns. For context, Tannehill's career-average completion percentage is only 62.9%.

Those games have the Titans sitting 23rd in our Adjusted Defensive Passing Net Expected Points (NEP) per play metric, and numberFire's models project Bortles as the best point-per-dollar value of any quarterback priced below $7,100 this week.
